D-link DWL-g700ap & Wive-ng : installation du firmware libre

Installation de Wive-ng 0.3.18

Tout se passe dans le terminal sous GNU/Linux

  1. Télécharger l'image du firmware : Lien :

Miroir : 2. DĂ©compresser l'archive : 7z x wive-ng-0.3.18.tar.7z && tar xf wive-ng-0.3.18.tar

  1. Se déplacer dans le dossier créé : cd InternetV.0.3.18/

  2. Connecter le routeur au pc en filaire.

  3. Configurer le pc pour avoir une ip fixe 192.168.1.1 sudo ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1

  4. Installer tftp : sudo apt-get install tftp

  5. Préparer tftp : tftp 192.168.1.6 tftp> binary tftp> put wive.bin

  6. Sur le routeur, appuyer sur le bouton "reset", débrancher puis rebrancher l'alimentation, et maintenir le bouton "reset" enfoncé 5 secondes.

  7. Sur le pc, appuyer sur entrée pour valider la commande de "tftp". La led "LAN" du routeur doit clignoter et "tftp" doit afficher un message de confirmation ( xxx bits transferred in xx seconds).

  8. Attendre 1 minute.

  9. Configurer le pc pour avoir une ip fixe 10.200.200.1 sudo ifconfig eth0 10.200.200.1

  10. Se connecter au routeur avec le mot de passe rtl8186 : ssh root@10.200.200.249

Firmware original

Effectuer les mêmes opérations avec le fichier suivant pour retrouver le firmware D-link :
